Bhagat Singh

     

        Bhagat Singh was a romantic revolutionary,whose endeavours  culminated in India's Independence from British colonial rule in 1947.



        Bhagat singh energetic youthful charisma proved a potential challenge to the british raj. 
          His sense virility, style, simple lifestyle, writings, statements, speeches & acts of defiance against the british raj transformed the story of his short carrier unequivocally into a colorful  legend.his innate feelings woven into the following song have made him immortal
                         kabhi who din bhi ayega ,ke jab azad ham hongey,  
                         yeh apni zameen hogi, ye apna asmaan hoga,   
                         shaheedon ki chitaon par,lagengey har baar mele,
                         Watan par marney walon ka yeh hi baki nishaan hoga.
        Which means:. A day will come when we shall be free ;this will be our own earth & this will be our own sky;
fairs will be held in celebration where patriots are martyred. it will be fitting monument for those who die for the nation.
         
        Undaunted by the britishers  hard punishment Bhgat Singh found contentment only Ram Prasad Bismil's song,
which he kept humming till his last moment.

              After becoming  country's hero & going  to the gallows ,he was referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
             Born on 27 september 1907 in Banga in Punjab state of northern India .Bhagat Singh was the son of Kishan Singh  & vidyawati. He was  born in a family with glorious revolutionary traditions.
              the spirit of sacrifices that his uncle  Ajit Singh , embodies was always uppermost in his mind .the hanging of his nineteen year old friend . Katar Singh in lahore conspairacy  case had a profound effect  on a nine year old Bhagat Singh. He always  carried Katar's photograph .
