5 FOOLISH BUT INSPIRING STUDENTS
Once, there was a Physics class in 12th standard. The teacher of Physics had made his mind to know about the talent of students. He entered the class swiftly and wrote a Mechanics problem on the blackboard.
The problem was that the
block is resting on a 60 degree angled inclined plane. Draw the free
body diagram showing all the forces acting on the block. He gave a
chance to the students to attempt and solve the problem within just 5
minutes. After exactly 5 minutes, he asked the first bencher(STUDENT 1)
about the solution. The first bencher was hesitated little for a while
but after gaining ample enthusiasm, tried to reply the solution. As soon
as he replied the solution, he pronounced 'Atully' to 'Actually'. The
entire students started to laugh along with the teacher. After that, he
kept quiet for long. The teacher called him a foolish student and
allowed him to take his seat. He asked his(STUDENT 1) neighboring
student (STUDENT 2)about the solution. His neighboring student replied
that he hasn't revised the topic. So, he can't solve the problem without
a thorough revision. The teacher replied that the whole class isn't in
touch with the topic. You aren’t the special one. You are a foolish
student. Just sit down. He asked the last bencher(STUDENT 3) about the
solution. The student replied, “You put this question aside. I am giving
you a complicated question. First solve it and then ask me.” The
teacher was queered. He apologized for asking about the solution from
him. He called him a foolish student and allowed him to sit. He asked
his(STUDENT 3) neighbouring student(STUDENT 4) about the solution. The
student replied that if instead of 60 degrees, we take an angle equal to
0 degree, then the solution is N=Mg. The teacher told that the angle is
60 degrees, not 0 degree. Give the solution when the angle is 60
degrees. The student kept quiet. The teacher called him a foolish
student and allowed him to sit. Lastly, he asked the solution to a
girl(STUDENT 5). She replied that the normal force is N=Mg sin(theta)
and accelerated force is Mg cos (theta). The teacher told her that the
whole solution is wrong. He called her a foolish student and allowed her
to sit.
The teacher found the whole class nerd. He immediately
departed from the class without wasting any minute. Now, the question
arises that were the 5 students foolish or the real messengers of
nature? Truly speaking, they were the real messengers of nature. Let’s
talk about the messages they gave through their foolishness.
STUDENT 1 gave a message that one should
try to be an optimistic and never to lose enthusiasm in any stage of
life. He/she should get ready to face any challenge. The fear is an
alien to us. It is beyond our understanding. It can arrive at any
interval of time. We have no control over it. So, just attain ample
confidence with enthusiasm and move on. The rest must go to hell. It’s a
beautiful place for them.
What had happened with the first bencher was that the
fear was running through his nerves when the teacher suddenly asked the
question to him. The fear got an increased acceleration after the
students started to laugh on him. This made him a pessimistic. He
thought that whatever he will speak now, that will cause a blunder of
him. Again, he will become a laughing stock for everyone. So, he found
profit to remain a dumb fellow.
STUDENT 2 is a real life example of the current
students. If we assume, then there are just 2% students who learn by
heart. The rest make a fun of knowledge. STUDENT 2 gave a message that
true knowledge should always rest with us. Consider A, B, C, D………….., Z,
this we never revise because we had learnt it by heart. Similarly, one
must try to remember ample knowledge. What the teacher asked him was a
simple question because he had already learnt the concept in his 10th standard. He couldn’t answer the
solution because he hadn’t learnt the concept by heart(may be including the entire class).
solution because he hadn’t learnt the concept by heart(may be including the entire class).
STUDENT 3 is a true example of those students
who possess ample ego. STUDENT 3 gave a message that everyone tries to
escape from the tough situations. He/she tries to triumph over the
situation through a crappy way. What the STUDENT 3 did was that he tried
to escape the solution of the problem. He tried to free from the
situation by any means. So, he challenged the teacher himself getting a
juicy escape from the situation(sab iss baat se sehmat honge ki teacher
se jo poocha gaya hai agar usko wo nahi aata toh usko koi haq nahi hai
padhaane ka).
STUDENT 4 was a little bit confused but a clever
student. He knew the solution of the problem but through other means. He
gave the message that there is no short cut to success. The only short cut to success is hard work. One must try to face every problem
enthusiastically. He mustn’t try to find short cut so as to triumph the
situation easily. There is no gain without pain. What he(STUDENT 4)
tried was to make the problem simple and with correct solution.
STUDENT 5’s solution was wrong due to her lack of concentration. It’s an axiom that success is a matter of concentration more than talent. She proved the axiom through her lack of concentration. One must try to concentrate deeply and perfectly. This can be made easy by him/her only by imagining the things. Therefore, it is said that imagination is more important than knowledge.

My dear readers, if anything is messaged
wrong by my cute 5 foolish students, then please feel free to comment.
